The Sukhothai Bangkok Hotel

The Christmas experience at this hotel was great. the decorations were festive and the staff was friendly. the hotel had a great location, close to the main attractions and shopping areas. the room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. the hotel also had a nice pool area which was very relaxing.

The check-in process was a bit slow and could have been more efficient. the staff seemed to be taking their time and it took longer than expected to get the room.

The Celadon restaurant is conveniently located within the hotel, offering authentic Thai cuisine. The restaurant has a charming ambiance with its traditional Thai decor and attentive service. Another positive aspect is the delicious buffet breakfast at the Colonnade restaurant, which offers a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate. the hotel is situated in the Sathorn district, providing easy access to other fine restaurants that offer better value for money.

Sadly, there is a lack of consistency in the service provided by the front desk staff, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

The executive suite was very spacious with an amazing bathroom. The staff were responsive and provided excellent customer service. The chocolate buffet and complimentary prosecco were a nice touch.

During my stay at Sukhothai Bangkok - Sha Plus Certified, I was truly impressed by the stunning surroundings and immaculate condition of the hotel. The staff were extremely courteous and went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a great selection and excellent service. The pool area was delightful, and I want to give a special shout out to Mr. Big, the head poolside attendant, who always made me feel welcome. The gym was also amazing, with state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of space. I highly recommend this hotel for its luxury, excellent amenities, and warm hospitality.

We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of promotions available, like the chocolate buffet and free drinks at the bar. the rooms were not only clean but also luxurious, exceeding our expectations. We loved the basic amenities by ELLE, they added a special touch to our stay. Plus, the hotel offered a great shuttle service to a nearby pool and provided a 1000THB voucher for their facilities.

The only drawback we experienced was the hotel's slightly inconvenient public transportation access, requiring a 15-minute walk from Lumpini st Other than that, our overall experience was fantastic and we would highly recommend this hotel for a city break.

Despite a few minor maintenance issues, the pool area is beautiful and the staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel's location is perfect for both business travelers and tourists, and the breakfast options are plentiful. I highly recommend Sukhothai Bangkok for a truly luxurious stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. the service was impeccable and the facilities were luxurious. We especially enjoyed the Spa & wellness center, which was equipped with a sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam room. the swimming pool was stunning, an outdoor saltwater pool with a sun terrace and elegant sun loungers. the massage was also fantastic, a full body massage that left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

The only issue we had with this hotel was the location, while it was peaceful and quiet, it was a bit out of the way from the main attractions of Bangkok. with the private facilities and exclusive amenities, it was worth it.

We loved the unique, ancient Sukhothai-inspired style of the hotel, which exuded a subtle, refined, and elegant ambiance. The spacious and comfortable Club Room with a pool view was a delight. The helpful and friendly staff at the Club Lounge, especially Mr. Tar, made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast offering at the Colonnade was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options. Additionally, the hotel had excellent facilities, including a large pool and well-equipped fitness center.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, making it a convenient choice for those who want to explore downtown Bangkok. It is surrounded by embassies, adding an air of sophistication to the area. There is a metro stop nearby, allowing for easy transportation.

The location is not ideal for those who rely on the BTS line, as it is not within convenient walking distance. Additionally, while the area is well-connected, it lacks the vibrancy and character that other parts of the city have to offer.

Well-maintained colonial-themed hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast service. Friendly staff and peaceful ambiance perfect for those seeking relaxation. A gem in the city with top-notch facilities including a large gym, pool, and spa. A great choice for a quality stay.
